Dr. Trezek initiated the scientific and technical aspects of a proposed Biomass Inc. commercial venture for the manufacture of acetic acid and ethanol from various waste and agricultural feedstocks.

Converting sugar cane into Ethanol | Retained by the U.S. Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, The Trezek Group performed a detailed study of the Stringfellow Hazardous Waste facility, in Riverside, California. 
Surface Area Map | The technology associated with treating marine sediments, developed under Dr. Trezek’s direction, involved the remediation of dredge spoils in the form of copper-contaminated sediments from San Diego Bay.
